1. Who processes your data?

Laattapiste-Pukkila Oy (Business ID: 0849307-3, address Mestarintie 5, 01730 Vantaa, "we", "us" or "our") processes your personal data as the data controller when you shop at Laattapiste-Pukkila Oy's store or use the online services provided by Laattapiste-Pukkila Oy.

3. What personal data do we process?

We process the following information about you that is necessary for the management of the customer relationship and marketing:

Basic information such as:

  • name
  • Contact information: address, telephone number and email address
  • Profession and position in the company, if the marketing is aimed at the company where you work or if you represent a corporate customer

Information related to the customer relationship:

  • Information about the acquisition and delivery of our products and services (e.g., products ordered, content and schedule of renovations);
  • Information about requesting and providing an offer for our products or services
  • Information about the payment method you use (e.g. whether you use our partner's financial services and the number of the financing agreement)
  • information related to any warranties
  • Communication, and actions related to the customer relationship, such as complaints and actions taken based on them, feedback, recordings of customer service calls, and customer satisfaction surveys
  • Information related to the tax credit for household expenses
  • marketing activities targeted at you and the information provided or received in connection with them;
  • Direct marketing permissions and prohibitions

If you use our online services, the following information will also be collected about you:

If you pay for the products or services with a renovation account provided by us, we will also process the following information about you:

  • Information necessary for making a credit decision, such as personal identity code, identification information, gender, nationality, rank or profession, marital status, information on current and former employment, income information, information on other credits, information on the form and duration of residence, and the number of people living in the same household.

Providing your name and contact details is a prerequisite for you to order our products or services. If you want to pay for your purchases using a renovation account, you must provide us with the information needed to make a credit decision.

Some of our store facilities have recording camera surveillance, so when you shop in our store, video footage of your shopping is recorded.

4. For what purposes do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data for the purpose of managing, managing, analysing and developing the customer relationship, including electronic customer communications. In addition, we may use your personal data for business analysis and development and for the marketing of Laattapiste-Pukkila Oy's products and services.

We process your personal data for the purposes of planning, targeting, sending, developing and implementing marketing.

5. On what basis do we process your data?

6. To whom do we disclose your personal data?

We disclose your personal data to the extent permitted and required by the legislation in force at any given time. If the service includes goods transport services, we disclose information to operators in the logistics chain. We disclose personal data related to order history to Franchisees and suppliers as necessary to enable customer service. As necessary, we disclose personal data to suppliers of design, renovation and construction services.

If you have financed your purchases with Rempparaha financing provided by OP Corporate Bank plc, we will hand over the total amount of your purchases to OP Corporate Bank plc.

We have outsourced the processing of personal data to the following service providers who process your personal data on our behalf:

  • For IT system suppliers
  • Storage service providers
  • For Communications, Marketing and Customer Satisfaction Service Providers

7. Do we transfer your personal data to a third country for the transfer?

We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU and EEA.

8. How long do we keep your personal data?

We retain personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which we process the personal data or to comply with our legal obligations. In the storage periods, we take into account, for example, the time allowed by law for bringing an action and the liability of the provider of goods and services for goods and services.

The products and services we sell may have a warranty of up to 15 years, depending on the product, so we will keep information about the products and services you have ordered for 15 years from the date of delivery.

We store the information we collect when you open a renovation account for a maximum of 5 years from the date you have been invoiced. If you have not paid the invoice and any collection costs by the end of the storage period, we will store the data until the amount has been paid in full or it can no longer be demanded to be paid.

Camera surveillance recordings are stored for a maximum of one year from the recording.

We do not collect information about consumer customers solely for marketing purposes. We store personal data collected by company representatives solely for marketing purposes until we are asked to stop processing personal data for marketing purposes.

We store information collected from our website, such as cookies and analytics data, for a maximum of 26 months.

We store the data collected from appointments for a maximum of 24 months from the time of recording.

9.1 Right of access

You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you. In addition, you have the right to access personal data concerning you and information on the processing of your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

When you exercise your right of access, we will provide you with a copy of the personal data we process. If you request more than one copy, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.

9.2 Right to rectification

9.5 Right to data portability

11. Where do we get your personal data?

We collect your personal data primarily from you when you make purchases, book an appointment or otherwise visit Laattapiste-Pukkila Oy's store or our online service. If you finance the services you have purchased with Rempparaha financing provided by OP Corporate Bank plc, we will receive the financing decision number and the maximum amount of financing from OP Corporate Bank plc.

If you represent a potential business customer, we collect your data from websites and other public sources, trade fairs, the business information service provided by Asiakastieto Oy, and other commercial operators that provide information about companies and their representatives.

If you want to open a renovation account, we will check your credit rating from the credit information register maintained by Suomen Asiakastieto.

12. How do we ensure data security in the processing of personal data?

We store your personal data in systems that are protected by firewalls, passwords and other generally acceptable technical and organisational means in the industry at any given time.

The materials we maintain manually are located in premises that are blocked from unauthorised access.

Only those of our employees who need to process personal data in order to perform their duties have access to the personal data we process.
